Yoga is a means of moving away from the noisiness of the mind and experiencing comfort and peace in stillness. Yoga enhances posture through its focus on deep, stabilization of the spine and by balancing strength and flexibility throughout the body. Through its use of breath, yoga also profoundly calms the mind and nervous system, while on and off the yoga mat.
